Position Overview:

Kolar is currently hiring a Project Manager. You will enjoy a hybrid work schedule, working in the office and remotely, as well as a supportive working environment that fosters creativity and employee development.  

The project coordinator will coordinate project schedules & timelines, assist with reviews of proposals/budgets and resource capacity, flag issues and risks of projects, and coordinate monthly billing through internal company systems. The project coordinator will ensure each project is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various team members in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Objective & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Monitoring project progress and update project status reports for the project team and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
  • Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project team and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project lead.
  • Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and scheduling of communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar degree 
  • Successful track record for being organized and a self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with customers facing work
  • Proficiency with communications, tracking, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources

This is an exempt, full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. The employee may occasionally travel for clients who are not located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The position will report to a member of the Kolar Leadership Team for mentorship and career and organizational management.
